We have come to an end for this period. We have shared and learned a lot with the help of each other.
For this last activity, we have all decided to work with the Thinglink platform and create interactive images to talk about the main similarities and differences you consider having with the teenagers/youth of today and the 50s.
We have seen different mini-documentaries to inform us better about the etiquette, behavior, activities, hobbies, music, clothing and technology back then to come up with an idea that will allow us to express our thoughts.
By now, you should have selected your partners in crime (3 people in each team) and discussed further your ideas and points of view.
Remember, Thinglink allows you to link different sources and multimedia elements. But, in order to be more successful, I´ll recommend you to follow this steps.
- Write a scheme to be sure about what kind of information you want to put into your interactive image.
- Select all of the multimedia, webpages, blogs or any other content you want to link.
- Write the 3 line paragraph to describe each element selected.
- Decide which image you will use as a background for your interactive activity.
- Organize the information in a logical order. You don´t need to add too many things. Remember, sometimes less is more (3 to 5 elements could be a good amount of info).
- Review your final work and take care of all of the details you feel need to be worked on.
- Come to this blog post and publish your Interactive Image!!!
Go an comment on 3 of your class groups activities and leave your opinion as a team. Netiquette is really important to follow if you want a good grade. We all want to be respected and value, so if you want to point out a mistake, do it in a respectful and nurturing way.
Follo the schedule: Planning, Organization, and Final result from November, Monday 20 until Thursday 23; Commenting on your friends´ images until November, Monday 27.
